1. Who we are
Atelier is built by Pilea, Inc., a Delaware corporation, and its subsidiary Pilea France SAS (SIREN 988 470 332), 679 Avenue de la République, 59800 Lille, France. Pilea France SAS is the data controller for customers in the EU/EEA. Full details are in our Legal Notice.
2. What we collect
Website visitors
Basic analytics (pages viewed, referrer, approximate location, device and browser type) through Google Analytics 4, and, with your consent, Google Ads conversion measurement. Neither loads until you accept cookies.
Atelier accounts
- Name and work email, from Google sign-in or the email you enter;
- your role and company name;
- the store and page URLs you submit for analysis;
- your conversations with agents, your ratings and comments on findings;
- billing details for paid plans. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store full card numbers.
Websites analyzed by agents
Agents only open publicly accessible pages, like a visitor would. They do not access your databases, backend, admin panel or your customers' personal data, and they never place orders or enter payment details.
3. How we use this data
To provide and improve the Service, run and schedule agents, send you your results, communicate about your account, billing and product updates, and understand aggregate traffic on our website. We do not sell personal data.
4. Legal basis (EU/EEA users)
- Performance of a contract: account, run and billing data.
- Legitimate interest: basic website analytics and improving the Service.
- Consent: non-essential cookies such as analytics and advertising.
5. Subprocessors
- Hosting and infrastructure: Google Cloud Platform (Google LLC).
- AI model providers used by the agents: Anthropic, OpenAI and Google.
- Authentication: Supabase, and Google when you choose Google sign-in.
- Payments: Stripe.
- Analytics and ad measurement: Google Analytics and Google Ads, only with consent.

6. Data retention
We keep account, run and conversation data while your account is active, then for a limited period afterwards for legal, billing or legitimate business purposes. Cookie durations are listed in section 8.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can access, correct, delete, export, object to or restrict the processing of your personal data. EU/EEA users can also complain to their local data protection authority. Send requests to founders@pilea.co.
8. Cookies
Nothing from Google Analytics or Google Ads loads until you accept in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time with "Cookie settings" in the footer; withdrawing consent deletes the cookies below. We do not use your data for ad personalization or remarketing.

9. International transfers
Data may move between the United States and France. Where required, we use safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
10. Children's privacy
The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted here with a new date.
